The Charity Awoke Foundation and Donya Charity Mission Transform Lives in Gesieka Market
The Charity Awoke Foundation, in collaboration with the Donya Charity Mission, spearheaded a powerful empowerment program at Gesieka Market, Kitutu Chache North – Marani Ward. The initiative addressed critical issues affecting the community, including reproductive health, the fight against Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), and the alarming rise in femicide cases in Kisii County.
Beyond the discussions, the mission delivered impactful support—mobility devices for persons with disabilities, sewing machines to empower women economically, and blankets to support vulnerable groups. This initiative reaffirmed our commitment to uplifting communities, advocating for rights, and fostering sustainable change.
